Gabreesen

Located twenty miles from Teledahn and on the edge of Kadish forest, lies the military base of Uru. Gabreesen is a fortress, surrounded by tall stone walls that reflect the plain stone gray buildings behind them. The buildings are spread meticulously out in the back of the land, while the front is an expansive landscape that is used for training and exercise. Gabreesen is a strict and tough facility, where only the strongest both mentally and physically will make it through training. Trainees are put through horribly harsh conditions; they are fed and clothed little, none of the buildings have heat or air, they are lucky to get an hour of sleep a day and they are constantly being pushed past their bodies limitations. If a trainee even slips once, they are thrown out and cannot return to train for two years. Rules are strict here as well; there is a conservative dress code for soldiers and no drinking, gambling, cursing, prostitutes or any other crude behavior is allowed; if any of these rules are broken the soldier is thrown out permanently. The best soldiers live in the city, while others have the option to stay here and live in the barracks. A soldier’s skills and strength are tested every year and if they do not pass, they are excused.
