Family: Julian has no living relatives to his knowledge. His mother died of illness and his father was killed during the war and he is an only child. However there may be some distant aunt or uncle of his that he never knew about.

Friends: Though Julian is technically an extrovert, he has few friends. This is due mostly to the fact that he barely gets time off work and he uses the time he does get either to sleep or visit Meesha. That being said, he is a very amiable and approachable person.

Enemies: Being an optimist, Julian sees the good in everyone. He is not one to actively make enemies though there are those who dislike him for reasons that he cannot help. The Head Scientist, for example, hates him because he knows that Julian is just as intelligent as he is and he loathes that Julian lets himself be held back by such things as morals. However, Julian is oblivious to this and would not name the Head Scientist an enemy if asked.

Lovers: If Julian is oblivious to his enemies then he is just plain clueless when it comes to romance and lovers. He can fall for someone just minutes after meeting them yet it takes him forever to realize it. He doesn't pick up on romantic hints or innuendos and as such can often come across as cold or uninterested by mistake. He has not had any lovers because of this but if someone spelled it out for him then there might be a chance there.

Ooh I want Cece and Julian to meet

Her family used to travel between the ages, so maybe they could have met when they were younger and he first started working on the portals? Maybe they could have been friends... Her family would have gladly helped him/hid him if he needed it, but they were also trying to stay under the radar.

I imagine he would have stayed with them for a while when his father sent him into hiding but he would have left eventually because he wouldn't want to get them in trouble. And since he is still in Portal Maintenance, he has plenty of reason to travel back and forth between the Ages so if he and Cece had been friends when they were younger he would visit her often.

She traveled a lot as a child and would have tried dragging him with they could have been apart for a while since her parents died and it would be fun to have them recollect.

I couldn't agree more. Do we want to think of a specific plot for them before we start a three or just start a thread and see what happens?
